RETURNS AND EXCHANGE POLICY

TERMS OF EXCHANGE, RETURNS & ALTERATIONS

At THELEIDI.MMA, we are committed to providing beautifully crafted garments and an exceptional shopping experience. Because many of our garments are handmade and made-to-order, please review the following policy before placing your order.

By placing an order with THELEIDI.MMA, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below.


BEFORE YOU ORDER

To ensure the best possible fit, please review our Size Guide carefully before placing your order.

If you are unsure of your size, kindly provide your exact body measurements (Bust, Waist, Hip, and Length) in the Order Notes at checkout.

We also offer a paid professional measurement service for customers who would like us to take their measurements.

THELEIDI.MMA operates as both a Made-to-Order (MTO) and Ready-to-Wear (RTW) fashion label. Production timelines vary depending on the garment selected.


MADE TO ORDER GARMENTS

Garments made using your personal measurements are produced exclusively for you and therefore cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded, except where a confirmed production error has occurred on our part.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate body measurements. THELEIDI.MMA will not be held responsible for garments produced using incorrect measurements supplied by the customer.

As every garment is individually handmade, a measurement tolerance of approximately 0.5–1 inch may occur and does not constitute a manufacturing defect.

Minor fit adjustments are not considered defects and will be handled through our alteration service rather than an exchange or refund.


ALTERATIONS

If your garment requires a fit adjustment, kindly notify us within the timelines below:

  • Lagos: Within 2-3 working days of delivery
  • Outside Lagos: Within 2-3 working days of delivery
  • International Orders: Within 5-7 working days of delivery

Approved alteration requests made within these timelines will be carried out free of charge.

Alteration requests received after the stated timelines will attract an alteration fee.

Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping garments for alterations unless the alteration is required due to a confirmed production error by THELEIDI.MMA.


EXCHANGES

We offer exchanges on eligible full-price Ready to Wear items only, subject to the following conditions:

  • The request is made within the approved exchange timeline.
  • The garment is unworn, unwashed, and unaltered.
  • All original garment tags, labels and packaging remain intact.
  • The original invoice or proof of purchase is provided.
  • The item passes our quality inspection upon receipt.

Exchange requests outside the approved timeline will not be accepted.

If the requested replacement size is unavailable, we may offer an alternative product of equal value or store credit.


ITEMS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR EXCHANGE OR RETURN

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Garments made to customers' personal measurements.
  • Sale items.
  • Promotional or discounted purchases.
  • Items purchased using discount codes or newsletter subscriber discounts.
  • Garments that have been worn, washed, stained, or altered.
  • Items with missing tags, labels, or original packaging.


RETURNS

Returns are accepted only for eligible items approved by THELEIDI.MMA.

Approved returns must reach our studio within the specified return timeline.

Customers are advised to use a reputable courier service and retain proof of shipment, as THELEIDI.MMA cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a confirmed production error or an incorrectly supplied item.


REFUND POLICY

THELEIDI.MMA does not offer cash refunds.

Where a genuine manufacturing defect or incorrect item is confirmed, we reserve the right to repair, alter or replace the garment before considering any other remedy.

Refunds, where approved at the sole discretion of THELEIDI.MMA, or where required by applicable law, will cover the cost of the garment only. Shipping and delivery charges are non-refundable.


DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS

Although every garment undergoes quality inspection before dispatch, should you receive an incorrect or damaged item, please notify us within 2 -3 business days of delivery by emailing atheleidimma@gmail.com or calling or sending a WhatsApp message to +234 818 795 2010.

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs showing the defect or incorrect item

Once received, our team will assess the claim and advise on the next steps.

If the issue is confirmed to be from our production team, THELEIDI.MMA will cover the shipping cost for the replacement or corrected garment.


SALE ITEMS

All sale items, promotional items, and products purchased using discount codes or newsletter offers are Final Sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

They are not eligible for refunds, exchanges, or complimentary alterations.


ORDER CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS

Orders may be modified or cancelled only before production or processing has commenced.

Once production has begun or an order has been prepared for shipment, cancellations or modifications will no longer be possible.


FABRICS & HANDCRAFTED GARMENTS

Because some of our fabrics, like Adire, are handmade, slight variations in color, texture, or pattern are natural and not considered defects.

Minor variations in print placement, color shade, texture, and handcrafted finishing are natural characteristics of handmade garments and are not considered defects.

Where a selected fabric becomes unavailable, THELEIDI.MMA reserves the right to use the closest available shade or texture after notifying the customer.


DELIVERY TIMELINES

We aim to complete every order within the estimated production period.

However, production timelines may occasionally be affected by fabric availability, public holidays, logistics, or other circumstances beyond our control. Should this occur, customers will be notified promptly.

 

Pricing & Payment

All prices listed on our website are subject to change without notice. Prices are displayed in the currency selected at checkout and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

Payment must be made in full at the time of placing an order. We accept payments through the methods made available at checkout. By submitting your payment information, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

GENERAL TERMS

THELEIDI.MMA reserves the right to inspect all returned garments before approving any exchange, alteration, or replacement.

THELEIDI.MMA reserves the right to decline any request that does not comply with this policy.
